Trying to run vh on a 3ds i think it could work but the RTP files, im unsure where to place the RTP jp files in the 3ds ver of easy rpg, booting the game up it instantly crashes, any help is appreciated.
The location of the RTP files is documented on the download page.
VH1 crashes on startup because the game database requires alot of RAM.
This was actually one of the games we used to benchmark our RAM usage. But even after all improvements it requires more than the entire 3DS has.
where on the page does it talk about the rtp files, sorry im not finding it.
Well its not very obvious, is just in the text below the download:
You can use any version of the RTP btw. Even the English RTP works for Japanese games.

is the rtp file something i have to make or it gets installed when i run erpg,
when i run rpg maker i get /data/easyrpg-player/
You get the RTP 2000 and 2003 from here: RPG Maker RTP Downloads | RPG Maker | Make A Game! Install them on Windows (or extract with e.g. 7z), then copy the resulting folders to sdcard:/data/easyrpg-player/2000 or 2003
The folde rmust be manually created.
