Easy RPG starts with mostly no music

Hello! i currently have a weird bug when starting games with the easy rpg player. When I start it with the newest version a popup bug informs me about the following: "Couldn’t init audio: Audio target ‘winmn’ not available. This results in no audio for the most rpg maker games. Yesterday I loaded Unterwegs in Düsterburg, which loaded fine and the title theme was playing. But all the sound effects were completely gone and some other music titles didn’t play as well. I had a workaround so far that when I bootet games through retro arch that they worked just fine. But this didn’t worked for UiD since it didn’t let me save for some reason. Does anyone know what happening? I know it did work in the past so maybe a windows update destroyed everything?

My specs if needed:

CPU: 12th Gen Intel(R) Core™ i5-12400F (2.50 GHz)
GPU: AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT 16GB
RAM: 12th Gen Intel(R) Core™ i5-12400F

OS Windows 11 Version 25H2 (Build 26200.8246)

Thanks so much already in advance!

Unfortunately never heard of this bug before.

The UiD music is a MIDI file which plays through the Windows MIDI Device so its independent of any Audio Initialisation errors.

Sounds like it fails to initialize your primary audio device. Can you check which audio device is your default audio device on Windows? Are you aware of any other applications that fail to play sound?

Also check if there is any program opened which acquires some kind of exclusive handle to the audio device.
