Lsd2xml -> xml2lsd generates broken savegame

I’ve just tried out both tools to find out something about the save games, but with the game I tested (Unterwegs in Düsterburg), RPG_RT.exe says “Stream error” and exits, when I try to load even an unmodified savegame, which I ran
lsd2xml and then xml2lsd on.

I created the savegame just after starting a new game.

Output:

LSD to XML-Converter

Wrote Save to Save01.xml, enjoy![/quote]

(looks like it got stuck at common_events?)

The filesize is different:
original .lsd file: 8kb,
generated .lsd file: 7kb

Here are the original save file, the one generated by xml2lsd and the generated xml file:

I hope this helps :slight_smile: Thanks for developing easyrpg! :smiley:

PS: I was using the lsd2xml.zip from that blog entry.

EDIT: Slightly offtopic, but is there a way to download the lastest Player build from the jenkins server? I can’t find a download link.

Hello,
thx for reporting the problem. Will try to figure out why the conversion fails.
I write a message when it got fixed. For now please use a different game ;).

We have no build bot for Windows. But I sometimes compile the Player on request, latest build: http://www.sendspace.com/file/xzv62m
