Vita Crashing on Start Up c2-12828-1

Hello.
I’ve installed the vpk from the download page. When I run it on my vita, I receive an error and the app crashes. (c2-12828-1) saying the Saved Core File Succeeded.

What can we do to get it to run?
Also, I read somewhere that you can create standalone builds so your game has its own bubble on the vita screen, but the link to the tutorial was dead. Would anyone be able to advise on how to do that?

Currently nobody in our dev team owns a vita to test this on.
There can be a couple of reasons why this crashes. Maybe the used toolchain is too old, maybe there is something else wrong.
About the tutorial, there is a builder in the source archive: https://github.com/EasyRPG/Player/tree/master/builds/psvita/vpk_builder It has a short description, maybe this is sufficient.
